This non-state service, time-limited position is available in the MS Department of Mental Health (DMH) Bureau of Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (BIDD). The incumbent will serve as a Program Specialist and will report directly to the Director of the ID/DD Waiver and provide oversight and monitoring of Support Coordination compliance of required procedures including drafting reports and approving compliance plans, track data and report on findings pertaining to ID/DD Waiver Recipients with significant behavioral/medical needs, respond to calls that are directed to BIDD from the DMH Switchboard and Helpline, assist the Division with the review of annual recertification packets for people enrolled in ID/DD Waiver, review programs and services certified by DMH through on-site reviews for compliance with DMH Operational Standards and HCBS Final Rule, provide technical assistance to providers, provide trainings to Support Coordinators statewide. Additional job duties may include assisting the division with public awareness events and managing data to reflect performance measures; and other duties as assigned. Statewide travel will be required.
