2026 Renewal Date Change for Mental Health & Addictions Therapist Programs

The DMH Division of Professional Licensure and Certification (PLACE) has announced a change in the renewal deadline for the 2026 Mental Health Therapist Program and the 2026 Addictions Therapist Program.

The renewal deadline for both credentialing programs has been changed to September 30, 2026. Please note the following:

  • This renewal date change applies to the 2026 renewal deadline ONLY.
  • The ending date for the attainment of Continuing Education (CE) hours for the affected renewals has also been changed to September 30, 2026.
  • Additional renewal information will be posted prior to the September 30, 2026, renewal deadline.
