Summer 2023 Youth Mental Health First Aid Training Dates for Educators Announced

DMH has announced a series of Youth Mental Health First Aid training dates for Mississippi educators taking place throughout summer 2023. Teachers, coaches, school resources officers, bus drivers, other school staff, caregivers and any others who regularly interact with youth – these trainings can help you identify common signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges in young people and teach you how to connect them with resources. Virtual Trainings

All virtual trainings will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants in these courses are required to complete a two-hour, self-paced pre-evaluation online before the instructor-led trainings on the dates below:
